53rd Annual Nevada State Planning Conference

The 2025 Annual Conference of the Nevada Chapter of the American Planning Association is scheduled for October 23rd-24th, 2025 and will be held at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden, Nevada. The theme for this year's conference is "Home Grown Nevada: Planning Today for Nevada’s Tomorrow".

This year’s theme is "Home Grown Nevada: Planning Today for Nevada’s Tomorrow". The conference will focus on how communities throughout Nevada are handling responsible growth, challenges presented by dramatic economic changes, and the need for the development of all types of housing. Sessions reflect how planners are addressing issues in Northern, Southern, or rural Nevada, including major planning topics, plans and projects, law, sustainability and resilience, and equity.
